Students should envision that they are joining Little Christian on his journey and write about their reactions to the events and characters encountered: what they think or feel, questions to ponder, and/or actions they might desire to take. Students only need to skip one line between entries so may include more than one entry on a page. This will be the last reading book of the year. Encourage a strong finish!

IEW:   This week we'll finish combining the paragraphs  about men who changed the world into one 3-paragraph composition.

For the next and final writing project, students will choose one animal we have read about in science.  They will create 3-paragraph compositions about that animal including 3 of the most appropriate sub-topics from this list: Physical characteristics, Habitat, Feeding Habits, and/or Movement. IEW dress-ups, decorations, and sentence openers will be required. We'll be creating KWOs in class on April 16 & 18 so students need to bring their science books to class those days.
