IEW:
We will be adding a third paragraph to the “Damocles and the King” rough draft this week. Make sure to start a new paragraph and then write about the climax and resolution. All 3 dress-ups (v, adj,-ly) and a #3 sentence opener should be included in each paragraph.

Week 1: Setting, Characters, and Background (rough draft only, checklist A )
Week 2: Introduce Plot and Conflict (rough draft only, checklist B)
Week 3: Climax, Resolution and Theme (rough draft only, checklist C)
Week 4: We will combine all the rough drafts into a three paragraph story for a final draft. Each week will have a checklist that needs to be followed for the corresponding section.
