This week we are working on the 8s and 9s family with multiplication and division.  Next Tuesday January 28th we will have a test over this chapter.

Cursive:

All final drafts will need to be in cursive now.

The history and science journal may still be in print during the 3rd quarter. The journals will need to be in cursive the 4th quarter, March 24th.

Composition:

We are summarizing a reference this week.

Tuesday: Complete style and structure, fill in the KWO, introduce vocab words

Wednesday: Print vocab cards, write RD, parents proofread, review vocab words

Thursday: Complete vocabulary practice, start writing FD

Friday: Finish FD, review vocab words

All FD are to be written in cursive. If your child is still struggling with cursive. In the link below you can type their RD into the space and it will create their RD in cursive and they can copy in the line below. Select the option from the picture below.
