IEW: We are continuing to focus on story elements. This week, we’ll continue our retelling of Pecos Bill. The final will be due the Tuesday after Thanksgiving break.
Geography: Students will be tested on the Australia map on Tuesday, 12/07.
Science: I just read about a new interactive exhibit at the Bullock Texas State History Museum that sounds interesting: SHARKS will run through March 24, 2024.
Grammar Christmas Party/Classical book exchange: We’ll be planning a Christmas Party for the end of the school day on December 7th. Part of the festivities will include a book exchange. Please plan on sending a new, or gently used, wrapped classical book that is appropriate for either a 3rd grade boy or girl. More information will be coming in the next couple of weeks.
