Journal entries need to be competed in the red journal. The entry needs to be three or more complete sentences. They need to be written in cursive. I will collect the journals every two weeks to grade the journal entries.

Math:
Fact Practices: Fact practice (FP) will be completed daily.  The previous week's completed sheets will be collected every Monday for a homework grade.  You will need to set a timer for 5 min.  If not finished, draw a line where they have completed to and have them finish the math fact practice page for that day. 

IEW:
Vocab cards:
 On Thursday students will create 3x5 cards with the vocabulary words for the week.  On one side they will write the word, and on the back, write the definition and draw a picture.  The vocabulary words are in the campus binder under the IEW tab. We will have cumulative tests throughout the year.


Spelling:
We will start step 1 this week on Friday.  This week we are only writing sentences.  Please follow the instructions on pg 20 for dictating spelling sentence.  I will only say the sentences once in class and then the students will repeat the sentence and then write it on the paper.
