Math:

Our first math test will be this TUESDAY.  They will complete the test.  Turn the test in.  I will check it.  If there are any missed problems, I will give it back to them and they will have an opportunity to make corrections.  Then they will turn it back in.  I will grade it and put the grade in Alma.  On Friday they will have an opportunity to make corrections.  They can turn in the test corrections on Tuesday for a homework grade.

Fact Practices: Fact practice (FP) will be completed daily.  The previous week's completed sheets will be collected every Tuesday for a homework grade.  You will need to set a timer for 5 min.  If not finished, draw a line where they have completed to and have them finish the math fact practice page for that day. 

Spelling:

Please follow the instructions on pg 44 for dictating spelling sentence.  I will only say the sentences once in class and then the students will repeat the sentence and then write it on the paper.  

Reading:
We are starting the "Cabin Faced West" this week.  The reading journal will be due Sept. 22nd.

Science:
Please bring the science textbook and journal to school on Thursday only.  

Geography:
