Composition: Summarizing References

Students will be writing informative paragraphs about 4 different animals over the next few weeks. We will be introducing topic sentences with corresponding clinchers (pages 79-80, 85) as students summarize references. We'll then combine the first three papers into a three-paragraph composition about animals’ homes.
