It has been such a blessing to be your child's teacher this year!  I hope you have enjoyed 3rd grade, learned a lot academically and about God, and made many friendships.  Students and parents, thanks so much for your diligence at home, and for making this year such a great one!  I will miss everyone of my students.

No doubt there are many exciting summer plans on the horizon, but do not forget to exercise those brains!  Here are some suggestions:
  • Read!  A lot.  Read aloud whenever possible.
  • Review Math  You can go back in the textbooks and complete any of the practices and word problems.  Be practicing those math facts.
  • Write in a personal journal about things you do over the break.  Write down your thoughts, things you do and experience, and any new things you learn or want to learn.  Prayers and favorite Bible verses are great things to write too!
  • Keep on memorizing things!
  • Read! A lot.
Have a wonderful summer!
